Life is a quiet struggle.
On the outside, you look steady – even successful. But beneath the surface is a restless mind, a tense body, and a heart heavy with grief. Your shoulders ache under invisible burdens, and the tightness in your stomach speaks louder than words ever could.
Holding back and holding on have become way too familiar. Anxiety hums in the background, tightening your chest and clouding your thoughts… while depression dulls the light you once carried. And when change invariably arrives, it leaves you unmoored.
But none of this is normal.
Your mind and body are telling you something, offering you signals from the parts of you that need to be heard.
Let’s bring it all to the surface.
We start by slowing down and noticing: The clench in your jaw as you talk about your day…The heaviness in your chest when you mention unmet expectations…The subtle shifts in your breath as you tell your story…
These aren’t just symptoms; they’re gateways.
The goal isn’t to “fix” or “solve” anything.
Rather, it’s about noticing, exploring, and pulling on elusive threads. No preparation is required – only honesty, a willingness to feel, and some courage to experiment.
This is a space where the complexity of your inner world can unfold without judgment. Emotions are not problems to be solved but experiences to be understood.
This is where you reconnect to yourself – not through answers, but through curiosity and care.
Therapy with me is a dynamic, collaborative process.

Somatic Psychotherapy
I will help you reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom and resilience. Some wounds resist narratives and words, and that’s where noticing our sensations, tensions, and contractions becomes a powerful ally.
By exploring the connection between your body and emotions, you can begin to release tension and feel more grounded. We’ll gently touch into stored emotions to help regulate your nervous system so you can feel safer and more at ease within yourself.
Our sensations can become our underworld guides, leading us to resources we didn’t know we had.

Gestalt Psychotherapy:
We will bring the buried roots of shame and self-loathing into the present moment, where they can be explored and transformed. By examining the stories and beliefs that shape your life we can begin to integrate fragmented parts of yourself and move toward a sense of wholeness.
Using present-moment, here-and-now approaches, we’ll engage directly with these stories, giving them space to shift and evolve. Through this process, you’ll uncover the freedom to write your own narrative – a life defined not by expectations but by authenticity and agency.

Eco-Art Psychotherapy:
We will engage in creative expression using the grounding energy of nature to process your pain and rebuild a sense of belonging. By connecting with the natural world, you’ll rediscover your resilience. Imagery and art exploration offer a way to express what you might not yet understand. It’s not about creating something beautiful; it’s about creating something honest.
An image living in your mind, a single stroke of color, or even an abstract form can tell a story you’ve been carrying for years. We can also work without materials through metaphor and guided visualizations. This work is subtle yet transformative, giving you new ways to access and move through what’s been buried.

Spiritual Psychotherapy:
If you're interested in earth based practices and working with nature & the elements, rituals and alter making, oracle cards, the tarot, or astrology, I am trained in all of these modalities and would be happy to include (or not!) in your therapy. I'm even more interested in your practices and integrating them into our work together.

I work with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, & Life Transitions, but here are some of my specialties within those broader experiences:
Hi I'm Cris, she/they.
And I know firsthand what it’s like to suffer with debilitating negative self-talk caused by trauma (and a side neurodivergence). I’m passionate about helping women, Latinx, queer, gender non-conforming, and trans folks alchemize their harmful scripts, stories, and self-beliefs into the strengths that they really are.
With 17 years of training and experience, I blend Somatic, Gestalt, and Creative Arts Psychotherapy expertise to provide what I call “Creative Now Therapy.” We’ll use techniques like mindfulness, body awareness, visualization, nature and art exercises. Together, we’ll identify the obstacles holding you back while facilitating safe interventions to help you access the resources you already have inside.
Transformation can be exciting and a little scary (in a good way.) My approach is focused on being respectful, deeply curious, playful, and engaging. Ultimately, therapy will enhance your ability to get your needs met, make better choices, and move more easily through life’s uncertainty. Best of all, it promotes safety within yourself. I'd love to be a part of helping you feel more alive and excited about your life.
Don’t wait any longer to create the thriving life you deserve.
I'm with you you & I'm here to help You be with you.
There’s a quiet strength in stepping into your life without the weight of constant striving...
In trusting yourself to set boundaries that honor your needs…
In letting go of the stories that tell you you’re not enough…
Therapy opens the door to this kind of freedom – not to be reinvented but to return to the self you’ve always been.
