Psychotherapy for Burnout.

You give so much of yourself.

Whether you’re an activist, healthcare provider, teacher, body worker, or in another service profession, You give so much of yourself. You care, you show up, you hold the weight of others’ needs, and somewhere in the process, you’ve begun to disappear.

The flame that once guided you is now faintly flickering, overshadowed by exhaustion and the quiet ache of wondering if this path you’ve chosen is enough.

Professional burnout and stress can feel like an endless cycle, draining your energy and clouding your sense of purpose.

Are you giving beyond your means?

The Quiet Toll of being a Helper.

Perhaps you’ve felt it – how the fatigue settles into your bones… how the smallest tasks feel insurmountable as you chase an endless list of things that need to be done.

This isn’t just exhaustion; it’s soul-deep depletion that’s disconnected you from yourself and others.

You know you can’t go on like this, but you can’t help but wonder: “If I’m not giving all the time… who am I??”

Why this matters.

You are more than what you do for others.

Professional burnout and stress convince you that your value lies in your giving, but the truth is, your worth has always been inherent. Therapy offers a path back to that truth—away to honor your compassion while tending to your own inner flame.

Through somatic awareness, creative exploration, and intentional reflection, you’ll learn to listen to your body’s needs, honor your boundaries, and build a life that feels sustainable and nourishing. This work is not about turning away from your care for others—it’s about learning how to include yourself in that circle of care or to imagine other possibilities about what your care can offer.

What we'll do together.

In therapy, we’ll create a space where you can let the mask slip, where you don’t have to be the strong one, the dependable one, or the fixer. It’s a safe space to voice the quiet resentment that’s been building up over years. Or the shame of wondering, do I even want to do this anymore?

This is your sanctuary, where you can exhale fully and explore what it means to put yourself first—without guilt, without shame. Through gentle exploration, we’ll uncover the ways burnout has woven itself into your body and mind. We’ll notice the patterns of tension and overwork that have become second nature and begin to untangle them.Together, we’ll craft practices that help you feel grounded, present, and nourished.

Listening to Your Body:

Your body holds the story of your giving—perhaps in the ache of your shoulders, the tightness in your chest, or the fatigue that never lifts. Through somatic practices, we’ll gently explore these sensations, helping you release what no longer serves and reconnect with your body as a source of strength.

Reclaiming Your Voice Through Creativity:

Sometimes words aren’t enough to express the weight you’ve been carrying. Creative arts therapy provides a way to explore and release these emotions, using color, texture, and movement to make the invisible visible. You might imagine the image of balance you long for, scribble out the heaviness of burnout, or collage what it feels like to set a boundary.

Restoring Balance Through Ritual and Rhythm:

Caregiver stress often thrives in cycles of overwork and self-neglect. Together, we’ll create small rituals—simple, sacred moments of rest and intention—that allow you to reclaim your time and energy. Whether it’s a grounding practice in the morning or a closing ritual at the end of the day, these practices will become anchors in your journey.

Rewriting the Narrative

Burnout often whispers that you’re only as valuable as what you give. In therapy, we’ll gently challenge this belief, exploring how to honor your worth beyond what you do for others. Through reflection and mindfulness, you’ll begin to rewrite the story of your life, one where your needs are just as important as the care you offer.

This is your time to reclaim yourself!

Imagine waking up without exhaustion weighing you down.  Picture yourself setting boundaries with ease, offering care without losing yourself in the process.  You can have a life where your giving is balanced with receiving and where your days feel spacious.

It’s time to heal, restore balance, and rediscover the magic within you!
